Scrutiny
This horse appeared to be the leader of the herd we came across on the banks of Hrutafjörður in Iceland. As I approached the herd, this one was the first to come over to see what I was doing, and to make sure I was no threat. I gradually gained his trust, getting close enough to brush his cheek with my hand, and allowing me to capture this shot of his wonderfully intelligent, watchful eye.
