Puffin

The Atlantic Puffin (Fratercula arctica) lives in large numbers on Iceland’s most famous bird cliff, Látrabjarg, where they are isolated from predators to the extent that they fear nothing; not even humans. Hence I was able to get very close to these adorable birds as the sun was just starting to set, at about 10pm, after they had all arrived back from hunting at sea to prepare to roost for the night.
