- Bátur
‘Bátur’ is Icelandic for ‘boat’. This beautiful viking boat replica was on display outside the tiny village of Þingeyri in the Western Fjords of Iceland.

On a tour of the Western Fjords in Iceland, this was the first of the fjords we came across. The symmetry of the edge of the fjord below, with curve of the mountain above, is what appeals to me about this shot.
